The police command of the federal capital territory, Abuja alleged that Ms. Stella Oduah’s vehicle was attacked by armed men yesterday.
Stella Oduah’s car was however said to have been shot at in Abuja while the assailants intended to aim the series of shots at her; unfortunately, she was not in the car at that time.
According to the spokes person of the police command, Altine Daniel, in a communication with News Agency of Nigeria, the incident took place at about 10 p.m on Friday.
Deputy Superintendent of police, Ms.Daniel confirmed that the incident was reported to the police at about 5:30p.m. She added that metal objects looking like unconventional bullets were found in the car.
This could be one of the fears that led Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah to purchase the widely criticized bullet proofed cars.
