Rudolf Ogoo Okonkwo speaks to the Government, to you and I in poetic lines of Thanksgiving

Sahara Reporters' columnist, Rudolf Okonkwo has this pieces of advice for you, which he termed why am thankful, it is so inspiring that you can't afford to miss it!

For those in America and those who embrace its sensibilities, today is Thanksgiving.   I am thankful that the people’s servants are throwing away their umbrellas for the brooms. Let the rain fall on the kings and the queens, I guess. Now is the time to sweep, I suppose. Or are they just itching for somewhere to sit, cross their legs and pick their teeth?

I am thankful that I know why the fallen lizard nods its head.

I am thankful that the circle is almost complete. A president has gone to Mecca. A president has visited Jerusalem.  What’s left is a president that will visit Okija Shrine.

I am thankful that I don’t say “nothing spoil.” When something is spoiled, I say it is spoiled.

I am thankful that Nigeria’s economy is growing at over 6%. So are the strikes, the unemployment, the crime and the remuneration of political office holders.

I am thankful that I am a stakeholder. So is the beggar, the truck pusher and the market woman. We are all entitled to an equal part of the stake.

I am thankful that subjugated ghosts of our past are creeping out of the graveyard. They deserve salvation, too.

Big Brother Africa house mate Bimp in a new Relationship with Beverly Osu

 

The Ethiopian dude and Beverly’s house mate in big brother Africa has been rumoured to be in a new relationship with Beverly Osu. The single hot chick was in a relationship with Angelo that didn’t work out, but may be far from being called a single hot chick if the rumoured relationship happens to be true. She was said to have been spotted with the dude (bimp) in her lekki residence. Bimp who was in Lagos, Nigeria, came to catch a glimpse at his remarkable house mate. Though sources has it that the both are in a serious relationship. If this happens to be true, then Bimp will be relocating to Nigeria on a yet to know date.

Beverly Osu is currently headed for channel o awards in South Africa which takes place in two days time. Bimp also returns to Ethiopia and has promised to resident in Nigeria if things work out between the love duo.

Wow! So the Nigerian Movie Industry has grown, it’s now age 20! The movie industry experienced a wonderful night yesterday, 27th November 2013 when the crème dela crème of all faction of the entertainment industry and cream of Nigerians in politics gathered to cheer up over it current status as the baby industry turn a hop juvenile.

Last night experience was a facet that saw the likes of famous actors, actresses, film producers, directors, marketers, set designers, and costumers. All beautifully dressed as they get together to celebrate the spectacular industry.

Zik zulu was able to let us into why it was important to celebrate the unique industry. He said: “Nollywood at twenty is worth celebrating as many memorable events capable of disintegrating it has come and gone, but still, it remains as one entity.

Actresses, Stephanie Okereke, Mercy Aigbe, amongst others were also spotted. Some pictures below.

Inspiration and Life Style Episode One: How could this be? you can’t afford To Miss This Story!

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.
Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.
She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?
I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.
She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.
When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.
This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.
She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door every morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.
My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.
On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane

Tiwa Savage and Tunji Balogun Were Spotted Barely 3days after Wedding at the MTV Shuga Tv Strings Yesterday

 The youngest couple of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry has been spotted at an event that held yesterday, November 26, 2013 at the Silverbird cinemas.

Tunji Balogun aka Teebilz and Tiwa Savage were at the MTV Shuga TV strings that took place yesterday, where the adaptable singer performed an act.

“The couple had planned on an earlier honeymoon to a place yet to be known, but am surprised with the fact that they are back to work”. Well I guess it has to do with the “Money first”, pleasure second thing, don’t mind me o, at least every one get him own right sha. Tiwa the super girl amazingly played the role of a violent club boss, who jeopardizes the standing of her club while rendering help to two advocates. A job she surely rocked according to my source.

I wish them the very best. But I must confess that Tiwa really needs a honeymoon.

With my ears so out and my hands always ready to type, I will update you on further developments with our “baby couple”, please don’t tell them I called them a baby couple o, lol.

Tonto Dikeh Lambasted Blogger Linda Ikeji

Linda ikeji had posted a topic about actress and singer, Tonto Dikeh on her blog which according to fierce Tonto Dikeh, Linda had gotten from a wrong source. Tonto has claimed that the Facebook page Linda accessed to get out what had been posted already was a hacked account. Tonto Dikeh had also called linda Ikeji an aging damsel who puts a lot into getting fake news about celebrities. (Tonto are you actually insulting my colleague? lol)
